Daglish Photography
Many thanks to Michael Daglish who has produced all the promotional photography and video footage.
Michael is seasoned climber and professional freelance photographer based in the North-East. He has
always supported Schmoolz and has spent many an hour photographing, videoing, editing and touching-up
for us.
Malcolm Kent
World class ice climber and all-round nice guy - Malcolm was one of the first pro-climbers to try out the
Schmoolz and see their potential. Since then he has been active in pushing and promoting Schmoolz in Denmark.
Mark Melnykowycz
An American Peyote.. Mark is an all-rounder - photographer, climber and creative visionary based in Zurich.
Mark supported Schmoolz from its advent and was the first independent to review and rant about Schmoolz.
Steve Johnson
Steve is another all-round climber and twice winner of the Scottish Tooling Series. He is
sponsored by Schmoolz and actively promotes Schmooling as a training aid to dry tooling and
winter climbing.
EICA:Ratho
Many thanks to Ratho for their support. The majority of promotional photo's were taken at Ratho
during the various taster sessions that were put on there. EICA:Ratho were one of the first walls
to allow and promote Schmooling and now have Schmool-specific routes set out.
Association of Mountain Instructors
Many thanks to AMI and its various members for their help and support whilst try to establish safe-working
practises. AMI is the representative body for professionally qualified Mountaineering Instructors in the
UK & Ireland.

Peglers
Peglers is a small, independent retailer based in Sussex. They have three shops and a comprehensive
online store catering for all aspects of climbing and outdoor adventure. Peglers were the first UK
retailer to stock and sell Schmoolz.
TISO:Edinburgh
TISO:Edinburgh now stock Schmoolz in their excellent shop at EICA:Ratho. Since Ratho now have Schmool-
Specific routes, its easy to drop in and grab a pair of toolz from TISO.
V12 Outdoors
V12 is an independent retailer run by climbers for climbers. In 2003 they opened their main shop in Llanberis
and now have three further outlets in Awesome Walls climbing walls in Stockport, Liverpool and Stoke. Schmoolz
are available to purchase from their shop at Awesome Walls, who also allow Schmooling.
Wild Sports, Korea
Wild Sports is the premier outdoor retailed based in South-Korea. They
actively promote all aspects of climbing
and organise many competitions to cater for the growing Korean climbing
community. They are the sole distributors
of Schmoolz in South-Korea.
Fjellogpadleskole
The Norwegian Mountain and Paddle School (Norsk Fjell- og Padleskole) is a small, yet professional, business
based in Southern Norway that offers a range of individual and group courses or instruction in all aspects of
mountain and sea adventures. They are experienced mountain guides and active in the Rjukan Ice festival. They
are also sole distributors for Schmoolz in Norway.

Scottish Tooling Series
The Scottish Tooling Series is the premier Scottish (and English) dry tooling competition.
Five rounds, five venues, tonnes of prizes, ice axes galore - now in its third year. Schmoolz
were please to sponsor two rounds of the STS as well as sponsoring Steve Johnson, two times winner.
British Mountaineering Council
The BMC work to support and promote Climbing, Hill Walling and Mountaineering in England and Wales.
The also provide comprehensive insurance for
participants of these activities.
